Poster Submission Requirements and Information

Participate in PODD poster sessions to showcase your research in a visually engaging and informal setting. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with others interested in Drug Delivery research and to explore potential collaborations. ​​​​​​​All Drug Delivery/Device related research is welcome for submission.

Poster Abstract Submission Deadline July 21st, 2025 
To submit a poster abstract, please email the details listed below to service@tcfllc.org with the subject line:

Criteria for Abstract Submission
• 
Abstracts must focus on scientific questions, device/delivery observations, or primary scientific data
 To minimize commercial bias, abstracts must not include company logos, names, or proprietary drug names
Only the first author may submit requests. Submissions from co-authors, or medical communication / PR companies will not be considered
• First authors may submit up to two abstracts. If both are accepted, an alternate presenter must be appointed for one of the posters
• No revisions to abstracts will be allowed after the submission deadline

Abstract Format
Abstracts Must Contain the Following

• Data: Including all research information either in paragraph format or in charts and graphs ​​​​
 Title: In headline style: 200-character limit with no period at the end
Authors: Limit of 12 authors
Affiliations: One affiliation per author
 Purpose: In paragraph format
 Methods: In paragraph format
Results: In paragraph format
Conclusions: In paragraph format
References: Reference any research previously published in a journal and used in the abstract’s research.
Images: In jpg format, no more than three (3). Do not include images in the Purpose, Methods, Results, or Conclusions sections.
Acknowledgements, disclaimers, funding and other disclosure or conflict of interest statements: This area should include any disclaimers, acknowledgements, funding, and other disclosure or conflict of interest statements, such as ethics approvals for animal use or human participation, which would prevent a blind review. This information will not be available to reviewers during the review process.

Abstract Length and Images
Abstracts may contain a maximum of 800 words in the Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion sections
1 to 3 images in jpg format may be included
 Data tables must be uploaded as one of three possible images and not included in the abstract text boxes

Late-Breaking Submission Criteria
Late-breaking submissions are allowed if they meet one of the following criteria:
• Results/Technologies were not available by the main deadline (July 21st, 2025)
• Groundbreaking findings that could significantly impact current delivery practices

To submit late-breaking data, provide a placeholder abstract by August 11th, 2025, including:
• 
All authors and their disclosures
• Background and methods sections
• Main clinical endpoint for your analysis
• Type of analysis, planned analysis date, and statistical methods

Submission Requirements
• Author Information: List full names, degrees, institutions, locations, and email addresses for all authors. The first author will receive all future correspondence. Up to 12 authors per abstract.
• Research Identification: Indicate if your abstract reports on original research or a drug delivery/device trial. For device trials, if already registered, provide the registry name and trial number. Registration is not required for submission but may be necessary by law for publication.
• Funding & Disclosures: Specify the funding source for the abstract, including any secondary sources. All authors must disclose financial ties with for-profit healthcare companies, which will be included in the meeting materials.

Poster Session Rates and Benefits

Industry Rate: $3,000

• A 5-minute pre-recorded video and up to 5 slides will be shared with all PODD attendees post-event and will be available on the website for 6 months.
• Author(s) listed on digital and onsite materials as a Poster Participant

​​​​​​​• Includes a speaker pass for the first author to the 2-day event ​​​​​​​• Access to partnering tool and networking for the first author
• A 5-minute pre-recorded video and up to 5 slides will be shared with all PODD attendees post-event and will be available on the website for 6 months. ​​​​​
• Author(s) listed on digital and onsite materials as a Poster Participant.

Important Dates

• August 11th, 2025: Final deadline for all abstract submissions
​​​​​​​• September 12th, 2025: Last day to withdraw abstracts

Withdrawal Policy

Requests for withdrawals BEFORE September 12th, 2025: A full refund is provided less an admin fee of $195. Alternatively, you can transfer your submission to still attend IO360°, with access to networking and the option to bring a second author.

​​​​​​​Requests for withdrawals AFTER September 12th, 2025: must be submitted by the first author. You will receive a 25% refund. Your benefits will include attending the conference and networking opportunities. If you cannot attend PODD, your pass can be transferred to another author or a colleague on your team. Alternatively, you may choose to receive full credit toward PODD 2026. Withdrawals made AFTER October 1st, 2025 will not be eligible for refunds.
